THis weeks Picks!!
UGA/FLORIDA- Uga without their QB and UF without an offense...man its tough to make a pick in this game. Both teams have offensive struggles but UF has looked worse in my opinion than the Dawgs. UGA has the best defense in the SEC East with UF a close second. This game is a true tossup. History is on the side of the Gators...but the Dawgs have more to play for. UGA 17- UF14
FSU/Maryland- FSU is in a really good postion in the ACC if they take care of business. Maryland is an inconsistant team with mixed results. One week good..the next bad. This game is at Doak in the Tallahassee so look for FSU to come out strong and take care of business. The FSU defense has been a little suspect in recent weeks, however I personally dont think the Terps have enough on either side of the ball to derail the Noles. FSU 35- Terps 21
Michigan/Northwestern - Finally a team is emerging in the Big 10 that "appears" to be a legitimate title contender. Northwestern absolutely dismantled MSU last week. NW's offense is as potent as anyones in the big 10 and their defense showed heart last week. Michigan is either overrated or underacheiving. Either way look for the Wildcats to take a nice position in the big 10 after Saturday. NW35-Michigan 28
South Carolina/Tennessee- Man I would so love to see Spurrier go up to Knoxville and knock the crap out of Fatty Phil. However the Vol defense is going to absolutely overpower the gamecock offense. USC's defense is marginal at best which should allow for Claussen to get the passing game going for old Rocky Top. I really dont think this game is gonna be as close as the score will depict. Ill say UT28-USC17

Wisconsin/Illinois- Poor old Zook!! His fighting Illini look more like a pee wee team. The Wisconsin Badgers are gonna stuff it down Illinois throat. Look for this game to get out of hand early UW 49- Illini 10
Meaningless game of the week
Troy/ULL- The Trojans go on the road this week to Lafayette. Troy is suffering from a major case of youth. The defense is suspect and the offense is on life support. Carl Meadows is out as QB and freshman has been inserted. But dont look for this to help much. This is a homecoming game for ULL....does that tell you something. ULL 24-Troy 6
