recap of my picks for the weekend

USC/ND- well I had this one pegged pretty much from the start. USC is a good football team...and a lucky one. ND is also a good football team with a great coach. I thought it was the IRISH that had all the good luck, obviously NOT W 34-31 USC

FSU/Virginia- I called it in my preview but I could not pull the trigger and give the win to UVA. FSU's youth finally caught up to them with a rash of stupid penalities and some timely interceptions. UVA played a whale of a game and their QB Hagans had the game of his career. Look for the Noles to win out and still play for the ACC Championship against VT. L 26-21

Auburn/Arkansas- COngratus to the Tigers. Finally Tubbs went to Fayetville and came away with a good win. Arkansas always plays tough at home and Auburn stood up to the task. The west looks to me to be coming down to Alabama/Auburn. Gonna be a GREAT Iron Bowl!!

Florida/LSU- Gators, Gators, Gators...I told you your offensive liine sucks..and it does. I told you a lack of running game would kill you....and it did. Leak is a pocket passer and will continue to struggle in Urbans offense. Look for Urban to get Portis some playing time and start building for the future. LSU is lucky and pretty good. However their run to the SEC west isint gonna happen. W 21-17

Alabama/Ole Miss- Well it was bound to happen. A huge let down after the UF win by the tide almost cost the the game against a marginal Ole Miss team. No need to worry Tide fans, the tide is for real and will continue to improve till the end of the season. As I said before the AU/UA game is gonna be HUGE!! W 13-10
